The flash player version 10.0.45.2 had critical vulnerability , Adobe fixed the vulnerability in the version 10.1.53.64 . Unfortunately this updated version was not released for 64bit and according Adobe there wont be 64bit beta version of 10.1 . So the users of 64bit have just two options left either remove the flash plugin or keep using it with that vulnerabilty . There are some opensource versions available for linux but they are not quite ready yet .
Arch Linux devs have also pulled the 64bit version of flash from their repositories . From all this we can say that Steve Jobs’s statement about Adobe Flash was true .
